Dutch Mesh is called mat net because it has different warp and weft diameter and different order. The proper combination of the warp and mesh can reach the filtering density that cannot be achieved by the square mesh. Therefore, the mat mesh is a fine filter screen, but generally the diameter of the warp wire is greater than the weft wire diameter. Contrast weaving is called contrast because the weft is much thicker than the warp. (the mat net can reach the filtering precision that the ordinary stainless steel net cannot achieve.)
