R&K's 5 Layers of Stainless Steel Sintered Mesh is made using our unique calendering and sintering (diffusion bonding) process to laminate braided stainless steel wire layers. This creates an integrated but porous board that is completely eliminated
Media migration. The particle size retention (ie micron rating) of 5 Layers of Stainless Steel Sintered Mesh is determined by the choice of screen; the other four layers (see figure) have been carefully selected to protect the filter layer and maximize strength and permeability. The final thickness is 1.66 mm ( 0.065"); if a thicker plate is required, an additional support mesh layer can be easily added. In addition to pre-coat compatibility, the barrier-type filtration design means that contaminants collect near the surface of the filter, providing high filtration accuracy and complete cleaning through on-line backwashing. Different from depth filtering
Long-term reusability media means lower replacement costs and less downtime, even in the most demanding applications, such as squeezing and permeability reduction of media such as sintered powder or fiber.
• Wide filter range
Eight standard filtration grades are available, ranging from 2μ (microns) to 100μ. TWM media is rated for 150μ and 200μ and is available on special orders.
•material
The construction of the mixture AISI type 304 and 316 stainless steel is standard. All 304L or 316L stainless steel, Hastelloys, Monel and other materials can be ordered
