Stainless steel filter cartridges are designed to overcome the temperature and chemical compatibility limitations of fabric or synthetic fiber media. This will provide very high temperature resistance and even withstand high pressure differentials. The stainless steel filter element is made of SS 304, SS 316 and SS 316 L.
These elements can be of a generally cylindrical or pleated shape to increase the filtration area. Typically, all stainless steel pleated and cylindrical filters are supported with coarser filter media to ensure that direct damage to the primary filter media is not caused by process disturbances.
A bubble point test can be performed to demonstrate that there are no openings in the seam or seam of the product that are larger than the specified aperture. Due to the stainless steel material, no media migration occurs. These stainless steel filter cartridge can be washed back and reused.
